PLACE MAKING OF A RIVER FRONT VAUXHALL, LONDON

The design proposal, Vauxhall – The Missing Link in collaboration with “Architectslab-Brussels” was worked out because of an in-depth review of existing Plans and Policies proposed by local authorities for Vauxhall’s regeneration. An extensive site visit was also carried out to correlate documentation to reality, get a firsthand feel of the potentials and challenges, and engage with the residents and other stakeholders to get a grip on reality. The goal of the design was to develop a Multi-Level, Mixed Use, Green and Cultural Platform trial addressing the PLACEMAKING of the River Front, Vauxhall Local Centre, Vauxhall Gyratory, and Neighborhood Destinations in London.
