Suleman Umar Building, a heritage declared building under SBCA located in Saddar Bazaar, Karachi came as a restoration and adaptive Reuse Design project into a jewellery store and is also known by its present function, being a Jeweller store under the name “Maria Jewellers”. The ground floor elevation was rebuilt taking into account the design motives and proportions of its upper floors while also maximising the display area at the ground level which was essential for its commercial purpose.
