SMALL SCALE EXTENSION – FLANDERS

This small scale extension explores the maximization of space with minimal resources. Renovating the facade with a contemporary terrace and a dormer window, the compact space inside has been enlarged to accommodate the family’s spatial needs. This design maximizes the use of the south sun by the utilization of the existing roof slope and solar panels. The intake of light brightens and enlarges the interior spaces adding to the quality of the new space created.
