Design research revealed the requirements for pre-school pedagogy and the needs and trends of the contemporary rural Ethiopian built environment resulting in a contemporary Neo Vernacular Design. The project included the making of an Integrated Master Plan, A Socially Responsive, Adaptable and Flexible Spatial Scheme and A Prototypical Module which promotes Children and Community Development and Participation through Bamboo Construction Revival, Recycling, Local Farming and Making and Maintenance of Common Spaces.
