INTERACTIVE AND INNOVATIVE SPACE – SENEGAL

This design proposal was prepared for the Mali mission at the Sustainability Expo organized in 2021 in Senegal. The layout was inspired by the important symbols of African village life. Emphasis was laid on creating communal spaces, incorporation of music and dance in daily life and the physical and spiritual importance of community life under and around the Baobab trees. The design used both literal and figurative interpretations of the spaces and symbols used in traditional African living.
